Why I don’t ship Kaeya and Diluc anymore
Ok this is a bit awkward and it is definitely a heavy topic, but I recently had a big change of mind concerning this ship. And yes the reason for it is that they are brothers. Now, I know they are not biologically related and for a long time that was good enough for me to endorse the ship. I still think biology is an important factor why incest is wrong generally. But I now hold even the abstract “shipping” of siblings etc. as wrong, even if they are not biologically related. Reason being, I cannot deny the fact that most incestual relationships are abusive. I cannot promote something that normalizes these kind of abusive and frankly traumatizing relationships, often with minors. I cannot justify it in the secrecy in my mind now I am aware of the real life consequences. I am sorry for endorsing the “Kaeluc” ship in the past.
